The Board of Directors for Maritime NHL’ers for Kids has reached the very difficult decision to postpone this year’s tournament and its associated activities scheduled July 22-23 at PEI’s Rodd Crowbush Resort Hotel and Golf Course.

As we all now, the COVID-19 virus threatens every aspect of personal  life, our family, our worklife and our economy.  And, now the long arm  of the pandemic has reached into Maritime NHLer’s for Kids.

The decision reflects our two primary concerns, both rooted in Public Health issues:

Crowd Gathering and Physical Distancing

  • Currently we lack a clear sense of when crowd gathering restrictions will be lifted by Health and Safety
  • Risks to the well being of the 100+ minor hockey “caddie kids”

We remain fully committed to PEI and are pleased to announce we’ll be returning to Rodd Crowbush July 21-22, 2021.

Over the past 20 years, with the marvelous support of our corporate golf teams, our sponsors, our celebrities and our volunteers, together, we have helped over 6,000 young boys and girls pursue their hockey dreams in PEI-NS-NB. We will stand together and continue this important work next July.
